Our Eye Doctors and our Eye Care team take even routine eye exams seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement, and an eye health evaluation.
Jerri L. Birsinger, O.D.
Dr. Birsinger has proudly served the eye care needs of her hometown (Arnold) since 1997. She is a Fox High School alumna and graduate of the University of Missouri— St. Louis, where she obtained her B.A. in Biology and Doctor of Optometry degrees. Externship training was obtained at Washington University, Barnes Hospital Eye Clinic, St. Louis Community Services, O’Donnell Eye Institute and the University of Missouri clinics on campus and East St. Louis
The focus of Dr. Birsinger’s practice is families. She enjoys providing both routine and medical eye care for patients of all ages, including toddlers and seniors. Her priority is making sure each of her patients receives the care they need in a timely fashion, with the respect that they deserve and at a price that they can afford. Dr. Birsinger takes great pride in being a provider that is not only knowledgable, but personable with and accessible to her patients.
Dr. Birsinger is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, Arnold Chamber of Commerce, and Families of Russian and Ukrainian Adoption. She lives in Arnold with her husband, Matt, and her two sons, Nik and Alex. When not working, she enjoys watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, fishing, spending time with family and issues surrounding autism and international adoption.
Renea, CPO, Office Manager
Renea is an AOA certified paraoptometric with over 18 years experience in eye care. She has extensive knowledge of insurance, billing and practice administration.
Renea is familiar with all types of insurance plans and will ensure that you get the most out of your particular benefits. With her southern personality, Renea has the ability to make any guest feel welcome and will gladly share her keen eye for fashion to make sure that you select eyewear that is perfect for you, if desired.
She is happy to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your visit to Arnold Family Eye Care.
When not working, Renea enjoys sharing about her Rodan & Fields skincare business, shopping, relaxing at the lake, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Imperial with her husband, Steve, and dog, Bo.
Our eye team is thoroughly trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of
the optical field, including selecting frames that best suit the patient's
face and style, recommending the appropriate lens and lens options,
repairing eye glasses and sunglasses, and fabricating spectacles in plastic,
metal, and rimless frames and all aspects of the fitting of
contact lenses using the latest in technology.
